About 770 Don Mills
770 Don Mills is an initiative advocating for the immediate reopening and repair of the Ontario Science Centre at 770 Don Mills Road.
It began with a t-shirt designed by Ellen Li for a rally in July 2024 to save the Science Centre.
Ellen attended Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute, a high school known for its science program and its 5-minute drive from the Ontario Science Centre. Her education, and her hands-on learning at the Science Centre, ignited her passion for science. This led her to pursue further education in biochemistry and, later, contribute to breakthrough medical research at SickKids Hospital.
The Ontario Science Centre has inspired millions of people like Ellen to pursue careers in science, math, technology, and engineering. It is a vital institution for future generations, and its preservation is essential.
770 Don Mills hopes to spread awareness of this cause and celebrate the Ontario Science Centre. Net proceeds are donated to Save Ontario’s Science Centre (Save OSC), a grassroots group dedicated to keeping the Science Centre open in Flemingdon Park and Thorncliffe Park. $1,240 was donated in July 2024. Thank you for your support!
